A downloadable mastahpiece for Windows and macOS

Skippy was just minding his own business in the forest when he got captured one day. Now he's some dude's pet in a glass tank, and he's tired of it. Help him escape!

But it won't be as straightforward as it seems. Being an axolotl, he needs to stay moist to stay strong. If he dries out, he'll get weakened!

Along the way, you'll meet a greedy magpie who wants you collect a bunch of pearls scattered everywhere. Explore the bedroom to find them all, and make your way to freedom!

Install instructions

Download the latest version (should be around the top of the files). Simply unzip the folder and run the "Skippy the Swimmer" exe (For Windows). MacOs users look below for help with running the app! Can be played with a controller or keyboard! (Controller highly recommended)

Note for MacOS users who wish to run the game:
It is a common issue that the executable flag is not set on the process for the .app, try this:

0. tip: you can press tab when you're writing commands in the terminal so that it auto-fills some of the command for you

1. cmd + space to open up search and then find **terminal**

2. in the terminal, do the command *ls* to see the directories (then you should be able to see Applications folder listed there, unless you've moved it)

3. assuming that skippy is in the folder Applications, then do the command *cd Applications*
-if you cannot do cd Applications, try cd /Applications

4. now write the command *chmod -R +x Skippy-v1.0-Mac.app/Contents/MacOS*

5. try running the app now, it should now prompt an "Apple can't check the app for malicious software" which you can override
